For those of you that are friends with Billy on Facebook, you know that on Monday we found out the gender of our baby. We had already planned to have much of our family together on Saturday evening for a Blues hockey game, so we decided to make the big announcement there. Now that our family knows, so can you, and we'll let you find out the same way our family did. We made Audrey a special shirt to wear under her Blues jersey so when the time was right, she could show it off to everyone. So, here goes...
That's right. Baby Nance #2 is a little boy. It looks like the Facebook poll that Billy posted proved true; there were 17 votes for boy and 8 for girl.
At first Audrey still insisted it was a girl, but then we showed her the ultrasound photos. Even though I am quite positive that she could not really understand what it is about the photos that indicates it is a boy, after seeing them, she stopped arguing. When asked what she wants to name her brother, she responded with the loving label of Goofball. While I am sure we'll call him that from time to time, I don't think that's the name we want to use on all occasions. We have not, however, determined which one is. So, unlike with Audrey, we have no name to share, and we will let you know when we do.
